Showers and thunderstorms will move across the state tonight and some isolated severe storms will be possible. Showers are already moving into the western parts of the state. Storms are expected to intensify late Tuesday evening and will continue through Wednesday morning. The primary threat will be strong to damaging winds, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
With a cold front moving across Arkansas early tomorrow, a range of low temperatures are expected Wednesday morning. We're forecasting lower 40s in the northwest half of the state and lower to mid 50s across central, southwest, and northeast parts of the state. The southeast portions of Arkansas will be in the lower 60s by Wednesday morning.
